Verónica Zagare is an architect, researcher, and specialist in urban planning, climate adaptation, and Nature-based Solutions. She holds a PhD in Urbanism from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands; a Master’s degree in Urban Economics from Torcuato Di Tella University; and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with Honors from the University of Belgrano.

She is currently a researcher at the Instituto Superior de Urbanismo, Territorio y Ambiente of the University of Buenos Aires, and at the Torcuato Di Tella Foundation. Her work focuses on the relationships between territory, water, and the city, with particular emphasis on green-blue infrastructure, urban resilience, ecosystem-based adaptation, and flood risk reduction.

Her academic and professional trajectory combines research, teaching, and applied work in national and international contexts. Since 2013, she has contributed to the coordination of Delta Alliance International in Argentina within the framework of the Torcuato Di Tella Foundation. She also participates in international research and cooperation projects, including initiatives funded by the Global EbA Fund and collaborations with organizations such as the World Bank.
