About Us

Dr Verónica M.E. Zagare 

Verónica Zagare holds a PhD from Delft University of Technology (TUDelft-The Netherlands, 2018), a Master’s degree in Urban Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Buenos Aires, 2011), and a degree in Architecture cum laude from Universidad de Belgrano (Buenos Aires, 2000).

She is currently an external researcher in the Department of Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology and a member of the Higher Institute of Urbanism, Territory and Environment at Universidad de Buenos Aires. In 2021, she was awarded the Professional Certificate in the IUCN Global Standard for Nature-based Solutions by the IUCN.

Throughout her career, Verónica Zagare has been a lecturer and guest professor at various universities, including the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong), Wageningen University (The Netherlands), University of Antwerp (Belgium), Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Mexico), University of Houston (United States), Universidad de Morón, Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, Universidad de La Plata, and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Argentina), among others. She has also contributed to significant peer-reviewed academic publications and projects nationally and internationally and has supervised postgraduate theses for national and international universities. Her participation has also extended to international architecture biennales and conferences, solidifying her profile in the global sphere. Since 2013, she has worked in the academic field at the Torcuato Di Tella Foundation, coordinating the Argentine branch of the Delta Alliance Study Commission.
