Urban Biosystems. Proposals for the restoration of amphibian ecosystems in the contemporary metropolis

Workshop that was part of the Diploma Seminar in Systems, Technology, and Ecolandscapes at the School of Architecture and Design of the University of Morón. The workshop was organized by the University of Morón, the Urban Management subject of the Architecture degree program, and co-organized by Delft University of Technology (NL) and Delta Alliance International. It also received the sponsorship of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Buenos Aires.

2019 | International Seminar

Water Territories

UTDT, Buenos Aires.

Organized by Fundación Torcuato Di Tella and Delta Alliance Argentinean wing, under the auspices of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Buenos Aires. Representatives from different Argentine universities presented the productions of undergraduate and graduate workshops, to generate an area of reflection and proposals about the problems of the design and implementation of Nature-based Solutions in the country. Then, international experts from the Netherlands gave master classes on main aspects of the subject and presented experiences carried out in different countries.

Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands), Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad Nacional de San Martín and Universidad Nacional de Morón participated in the International Seminar and contributed to its organization.

Workshop on citizen construction of proposals for the mitigation of floods and Climate Change in the Luján River Basin

2013 | Seminar - Workshop

Urban and Environmental Scenarios for the Lower Paraná Delta.

Organized by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policies (USA), the Fundación Humedales / Wetlands International Argentina, Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands), Instituto Superior de Urbanismo, Territorio y Ambiente (ISU) of the University of Buenos Aires, and Fundación Cambio Democrático.

 

This workshop was developed within the framework of the Project "Scenarios for a comprehensive approach to urban and environmental dimensions in the Lower Paraná Delta", funded through the 2012 call "Land Policies and Urban Development in Latin America", within the thematic axis “Climate change, environmental risk and use of urban land” of the Program for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policies (USA). The objective was focused on generating base knowledge for the design of comprehensive development policies for the study area through public participation and the interaction of the various actors involved in the territory.
